Totally get your hesitation though, I feel it’s partly comfort level and partly habit, and everyone’s different.

I've been using Claude Code instead of Cursor and the comparison is interesting. Cursor optimizes for speed, Claude Code optimizes for context understanding. Both valid, different use cases.
Your point about stability challenges is real. Rapid iteration means the ground shifts under you. What worked yesterday might break today. That friction is the cost of being on the bleeding edge.
I agree that tools matter less than clear prompts and good project structure. In fact, I wrote 2 separate pieces about this :)
Going back to your question, the biggest complaint I have about cursor is it’s browser feature. It “sometimes work, sometimes don’t”. But I’m very satisfied with it most of the time, especially on the mcp side.
Funny thing - I was using cursor before browser feature - and I switched to Replit(yep, been there). Then I came back and it is not great, but - at least I have everything in one place.
In the prefer Claude Code - no browser at all(built-in), but it runs npm dev for me :)
Trying it now with a difficult use case. Too many errors. I developed the prompt using Copilot. At least, I got it to do the upgrade lol. But sorry to say, its not there yet. :) it will be awhile.

I have been using it less and less. And creating things with proof of human work. My thesis is that if everything becomes easy to create with AI, everything will get overcrowded, and those who have an established repetition of building things by hand will stand out. Just like how today a handcrafted Japanese shoe sells for ten times the price of a factory-made shoe.

I see myself not looking the files anymore lol, but I still couldnt wrap my head around deploying multiple agents as I'm afraid it will ruin my codes.
but your idea to deploy agents to tackle same problem to see most possible solution is interesting to try!
