I didn’t realize the cost of using a custom domain would be this high, good thing I’m sticking with Substack for now. Also, glad you finally got it fixed.
I agree with your point about not obsessing over recommendations from big creators; in fact, you don’t even need them.
We just need recommendations from people on a similar growth trajectory as us, not bigger ones.
Even though I have a different take on growing through recommendations, I’ll share it tomorrow and add this post as a reference.

They optimize branding before traction and end up invisible.
Discovery > polish early on.
Earn attention first, decorate later.
This really comes down to knowing what phase you’re in and optimizing for the strategy that makes sense right now.
