Jenny, this is the clearest framing I’ve seen for the “which tool?” question: pick the level first, then the tool. The rule “how much of the system does AI need to own?” is the whole game.

Also, thank you for naming Level 2 for what it is: unglamorous reliability work. Webhooks, retries, credentials, logs. That’s the “runs every day” layer.

Quick question: what do you use as the promotion test for moving a Level 3 agent toward Level 4? Like, what’s the minimum viable feedback signal you trust before letting it adjust strategy (even slightly)?
